The project ‘FuturePOD’ is artist imaginary utopia home that rooted in ongoing interest in shifting the relationship between technology, humans, and nature. For centuries, the human species has dominated the environment and used up vast quantities of natural resources. Now we are facing on “ghastly future” of mass extinction, unthinkable death tolls, and horrifying conflicts. This technology proposes a solution of climate change crisis by creating a symbiotic closed loop living habitat that includes AI an organic vegetarian gardening system and an auto compost toilet. This nutrient self-sustainable machine demonstrates the efficacy of surviving in climate crisis situation and suggest lifestyle to human to become a part of ecosystem. Future Pod plans to create a system for education as it pertains to the mission of environmentally sustainable living practices. It suggests the approaches to living in the future and improves the conditions of residency nowadays for the Low-middle class.
The installation is shows ongoing research of total eco-system architecture project include physical model, 3D virtual interior space, and include biodegradable eco-friendly materials such as mycelium brick and worm composting pod. It is artist-science lab to show research process. VR masks integrate reality into a virtual chimeric world. This theatrical utopia may become an oblivious dystopia to remain in Metaverse world.
FuturePOD is completely autonomous, driven by this artificial life program—a software that simulates to understand complex biological human behaviors and provide perfect nutrients for human health.
FuturePOD helps health and eco-conscious individuals find solutions to nutrition challenges by providing a closed cycle natural living habitat complete with indoor organic vegetable garden and compost toilet in addition to educational enrichment programs to promote total wellbeing.
